OCR (Optical Character Recognition)

1) Use OmniPage Professional.

2) Click Auto

3) Save As ... the text format appropriate for your word processing needs.

NOTE: If you get an error saying that the scanner is not being recognized, you need to select the scanner in the chooser.

1)Under the Apple Menu, select Chooser

2) Highlight Epson Scan

3) Close the Window.

If this doesn't work, ask the lab monitors for the disk with the scanner drivers on it and reinstall the driver into the System folder on the desktop. The monitor should be able to help you with this. Always restart!
